Swanage Town
The dramatic landscape of Swanage and the Purbecks has been enjoyed by generations of visitors. Most of this area lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is part of England's first natural World Hertiage Site. This Trail will take you along part of the coastline with its spectacular geological features and also into the Historic Town of Swanage. Take the train to Corfe Castle, built in 1086 and once one of the country's great strongholds. You could even take in more of Corfe on our Treasure Hunt around Corfe Village itself!
This Murder Mystery Trail should take about 2 1/2 hours at a leisurely pace with about a mile and a half of walking. The Trail is suitable for both wheelchairs and pushchairs but there are a couple of downhill slopes to negotiate.
