Ray, our head gardener may have managed to remove Wei Tad Pohl from Minterne in our earlier Trails. But the Chinese Botanist had returned, but not for long. His lifeless little green fingers have been spotted poking out of the Acer beds.
Suspicion has fallen on Ray, as his arch plant potting rival, but we are not so sure. Solve the clues to find out if it was Ray or whether Tad Pohl had another, more sinister enemy.
Minterne Gardens in Autumn Fall
Minterne Gardens are the spectacular Gardens which have been owned by the Churchill and Digby families since 1620. The Gardens are one of England's best kept secrets, with some of the rarest plants in the world to be found here. The wonderful rhododendrons and azaleas are just awesome.
This is the third and final Garden Trail that we, at Treasure Trails Dorset have been commisioned to write. The first of the Trails in the Gardens was the Springtime, the second was for Summertime and this one, Autumn Fall will lead you into the wonderful auburn colours of the leaves turning before they drop.
The Gardens, just a couple of miles from the beautiful village of Cerne Abbas are open from 1st March to 9th November, so please check before you go.
This Murder Mystery is about a mile in length and should take you about 2 hours to complete, although you may wish to spend more time just admiring the plants and views. Although the Trail is suitable for pushchairs it may not be suitable for wheelchairs, however wheelchair users are always welcome but the path is a little uneven in places.
All three Trails, the Springtime Treasure Hunt, the Summertime Spy Mission and the Autumn Fall Murder Mystery can all be done at anytime while the gardens are open.
