Fireman Martin is at his wits end, he has invited the top knobs from Eype Fire Station to come and see his prize engine, but while polishing his chrome bits he noticed that his hose was missing. After a bit of detective work Martin suspects that Percy the Pyromaniac has been up to his old tricks by nicking the hose. Help poor Martin in his quest before Percy starts playing with his matches again and in time for his visitors from the Fire Station.
Highlands End & Eype Village
This is the first Trail written for West Dorset Leisure Holidays, the Trail starts at Highlands End Holiday Park, Eype, nr Bridport where you can easily park with no parking charges. The Trail will take you along the road through the secluded village of Eype and to Eype beach with it's fantatic views of the Dorset and East Devon World Heritage Site, the Jurassic Coast. 95 miles of stunning coastline with rocks recording 185 million years of the Earth's history.
You can take a whole day out with this Trail, just take your towel, swimming cossies and a packed lunch and spend some time on the beach before you walk along the coast path back to Highlands End and your last few clues and a well deserved rest and drink in the bar.
This walking Treasure Trail is about 2 miles in length and will take about 2 hours to complete. Because of the narrow road, walking along coast path and a fairly steep slope this Trail is not suitable for wheelchairs or for pushchairs.
