The new Wimborne Mill & Minster Trail now starts at Walford Mill Craft Centre, goes throught the fascinating ancient town, to the fabulous Minster with it's chained library and along the peaceful River Allen.
There are some new clues and some clues from the original Wimborne Trail. There is also a few more historic facts about the town and Minster. Make time to venture inside the Minster to see the tomb of Ethelred, the brother of King Alfred the Great, the amazing Chained Library with all the books chained to the book shelves and the coffin of Anthony Ettricke buried in the wall of the Minster - very strange.
