  • YOUR MISSION

Evil genius,Dr Badden-Madd is up to his dastardly deeds again. He hates the sound of people enjoying themselves and having flumetastic fun at the UK’s biggest outdoor waterpark, Splashdown@Quaywest. He's planning to spoil the fun & frolics by installing a sound muffling device to drown out the laughter & screams of those having fun shooting the rapids. Help deactive the device before it’s too late and let the flumin' fun flow!

    Paignton Goodrington

Goodrington Sands is part of the glorious English Riviera on the South Devon Coast. In 2007, the English Riviera was designated the world's first urban Geopark by UNESCO, due to an abundance of features of geological, ecological, architectural and cultural importance, spanning a time scale of 400 million years.

This trail will help you explore glorious Goodrington Sands, enjoy a stroll in Young's Park, climb to the cliff tops for some stunning views across Torbay and study wildlife in the Wildfowl Conservation Area. In addition to all this, you can shoot the rapids and have flumetastic fun at the UK's largest outdoor waterpark at Splashdown, or treat yourself to an ice-cream and some well-earned refreshments along the seafront at Goodrington Sands.

This circular walking trail helps you explore the Goodrington area of Paignton. The trail is 1.5 miles long and takes around 2 hours to complete. It involves a walk along the seafront, Youngs Park, a climb up to the cliff top gardens, Roundham Head and the Wildfowl Conservation Area. It starts and finishes at Splashdown@Quaywest Waterpark in Goodrington. There is car parking, a cafe and public toilets nearby.

This Trail can be purchased from The Sunrise Store at Splashdown@Quaywest which is at the start of the Trail. The Trail can be completed at any time of the year.

There is an alternative route for pushchairs and wheelchair users to avoid the steps up to the cliff top.

Please be aware that dogs are not permitted in the Wildfowl Conservation Area.
