Regulars at Okehampton’s most popular watering hole,‘The Long Arms’ were stunned to hear of the death of licensee, Ivor Hangover. The police officer in charge of the investigation, Jason De Villain, has confirmed that they are treating the landlord’s death as suspicious. If you can uncover the truth about who took the publican’s life, and how they did so, you could win a prize!
The ancient market town of Okehampton is dominated by the power and beauty of Dartmoor whose presence has somehow seeped into the town’s character and atmosphere. Built around the castle that guarded one of the few crossing points of the river Okement, Okehampton has much history to explore. Included in the Trail is the beautiful Simmons Park which would be the ideal place to enjoy a picnic.
This is a Murder Mystery Trail which is 2 miles long and takes approximately 2 hours.
The trail is steep in places and has one long cobbled path to negotiate, which can be slippery when wet. The Trail is suitable for light pushchairs but regrettably unsuitable for wheelchair users.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
Really nice trail with a good 'workout' up to the church! The kids were fascinated by the huge graveyard - think we could have spent the day there. Wish we'd had enough time to look in the museum, will have to go back for that.
