Kingsbridge
Kingsbridge is often referred to as the ‘Capital of the South Hams’. It is an historic market town with a stunning Quayside area lined with trees and lit up all year round. What makes Kingsbridge a fascinating place to explore is the wide variety of churches and taverns in the town. In the mid 19th Century the town had 16 practising religions and over 20 taverns and inns!! The Trail starts and finishes beside the Quay which would make an excellent place to hold a picnic after you have successfully solved the murder!!
This is a Murder Mystery Trail. The Trail is 1½ miles long and takes approximately 1½ hours. The trail has one short flight of steps to negotiate. The Trail is however suitable for pushchairs and for wheelchair users.
The Trail is available for purchase from Kingsbridge Tourist Information Centre which is at the start of the trail. There is car parking nearby. Do pop in and see the friendly staff in the Information Centre if you get stuck. They're always happy to help!
