Ivybridge
Ivybridge is known locally as the 'Gateway' to Dartmoor National Park and lies astride the beautiful River Erme. Named after the Ivy Bridge, painted by Turner in 1813, this vibrant and lively town is also renowned throughout the picturesque South Hams for its friendly welcome and charming hospitality. The trail is varied, with clues taking you through the bustling town centre, to the peace and tranquility of the viaduct in Longtimber Woods.
This is a Murder Mystery Trail. The circular Trail is approximately 1.5 miles long and takes about 2 hours to complete. The Trail is suitable for pushchair and wheelchairs users.
The Trail can also be purchased as a booklet from the Ivybridge Tourist Information Centre in The Watermark, which is located at the start of the Trail.
