  • YOUR CASE

The vibrant town of Dartmouth was shocked and stunned to learn of the untimely demise of popular celebrity chef, Ivor Bigtum. Renowned for his award-winning bread, Ivor came to a sticky end when he was found submerged in a huge vat of sour dough. Police say that he had been murdered by a jealous rival before he was thrown into the vat. Can you help work out who committed this dastardly deed and solve this heinous crime?

    Dartmouth

The ancient river port of Dartmouth is a delightful town to explore. At times, you feel as if you have stepped back in maritime history, to the days when Britain ruled the seas. Dominated by the river and overlooked by the magnificent Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth has a huge wealth of history and heritage to explore, along with some fabulous restaurants and shops selling all sorts of local curiosities. It is a cracking day out for all the family!

This is a Murder Mystery Trail.
The Trail is 1 1/2 miles long and takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. The trail has one long cobbled path to negotiate. There is one steep flights of steps but an alternative route is available to avoid this. This Trail is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The Trail starts at the Tourist Information Centre near the Park and Ride and bus drop-off.

"We have just completed the Dartmouth Treasure Trail. What a great way to spend an afternoon outside. The Trail is a great way to keep the children interested and willing to walk for a while. This one is a great one because you can stop for coffee/lunch and then go back to it. We would recommend it for any age group. Looking forward to the next one!"
