The body of renowned geologist Archibald Anderson was found at his home, only hours before he was due to conduct a press conference to reveal the location of a prehistoric skeleton of the dinosaur “Doyouthinkhesaurus”, discovered somewhere along the Jurassic Coast. The Jurassic Coast provides a stunning backdrop to this pretty seaside resort. This Trail starts at the Tourist Information Centre in the town, then leads you along the length of the sea front, as well as taking you through the charming back streets. The pebbled beach is a great place to have a picnic after the Trail.
This is a Murder Mystery Trail which is 2 miles long and takes approximately 2 hours. There are several steep hills on this Trail. This Trail is suitable for pushchairs but regrettably not for wheelchairs.
The Trail can also be purchased as a booklet from the Budleigh Salterton Tourist Information Centre, which is located at the start of the Trail.
