Bigbury on Sea
If you love the sea, the sand, and the coastal path, you will love this Trail. The Trail takes you onto Burgh Island, which is cut off from the main land at high tide, so you may have to use the strange and unique sea tractor to get across. You also walk round the bay to Challaborough with another golden beach. This is a fun Trail to do and you will enjoy the stunning views from the top of the island. Take a picnic and some beach gear to enjoy the fabulous beaches around this area.
This is a Murder Mystery Trail. The Trail is 1 1/2 miles long and takes approximately 1 1/2 hours to complete. The trail is steep in places and crosses a sand causeway. The Trail is regrettably therefore not suitable for wheelchairs. If the tide is in, you will be need to pay a fee to cross to the island using the sea tractor.
