Swadlincote
Swadlincote is a former pottery town and has been closely aligned to mining towns in the surrounding area too. From a heavily industrial past it is emerging now as a revitalised town in the heart of the National Forest. This Trail takes you through old and new parts of the town where you will experience the excitement of a newly emerging community which is justifiably proud of its past.
The Trail is approximately 2 miles long (which should take you about 2 hours to complete). However, it might take you longer if you choose to linger longer in the parks, the countryside walking areas or have a go at skiing!!
