  • YOUR MISSION

A secretive figure, known only as I.Spy, has discovered a secret about Matlock's lead mines which he is willing to sell to the highest bidder. There are several interested parties, and you must discover the code phrase to be in with a chance to stop the forthcoming 'secret auction'. Can you solve the clues to the following questions and enter the code into the computer to sabotage the auction site?

    Matlock

Matlock is situated within the Derwent Valley World Heritage area, on the edge of the Peak District. The area was pivotal to the Industrial Revolution and has a wealth of historical mill sites within the region. This walk will explore the history and scenery that this area is famous for, including Hall Leys Park, Matlock Bridge, Pic Tor and views of Riber Castle. If you do this Trail on Boxing Day there is the added bonus of being present during the traditional raft race on the River Derwent.

Not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs, this Trail will take approximately an hour and a half to complete. It is approximately 1.5 miles long.
