  • YOUR CASE

Local police are stunned and baffled by the discovery of the body of Miss Tury after she attended a school re-union party in Glossop. She was discovered behind the bike shed but police know she did not smoke. Local police need your help to solve this dastardly deed by eliminating suspects from a long list. Are you willing to help?

    Glossop

The town of Glossop is right at the top end of the Peak District. It is surrounded by some spectacular countryside, and has some glorious parks and scenic sights within the town itself. Despite the fact that this town was once heavily industrialised, it has the feel of an old market town. Indeed the Market Hall and the town centre are worth a visit in themselves. But this Trail has much more to offer of Glossop. Old Glossop is a distinct area of the town that many will not appreciate without a little help. This Murder Mystery Trail ensures that you will see some of the best areas and sites within the town. At the end of the Trail - once you have the solution to your quest - you might like to linger longer in the cafes and restaurants within the town. You will be spoilt for choice.

This Trail route is suitable for pushchairs, but unfortunately, some wheelchair users might find certain sections hard to navigate, particularly in Old Glossop. The Trail is approximately 2 miles long and should take you about 2 hours to complete - dependant on how many 'refreshment' breaks you take. This Trail is suitable for families (as well as small adult groups).
