YOUR CASE
The body of a man, believed to be that of local dignitary Simon Cheese, has been found in the disused factory just outside Hartington. He was found curdled up in a barrel which whey-ed a ton. Police are unsure how precisely he met his untimely end, the only lead they have belongs to Simon's dog, Cracker. It looks like it might be murder! Can you help solve this dastardly deed?
Hartington
What a beautiful little village Hartington is. A small, quaint village in the heart of the Peak District, this village has a quintessential village green with duck pond, country pubs and miles of walking in the surrounding hills. This Trail can be quite arduous as one part of the Trail requires a steep climb and another requires negotiation of some very narrow V stiles. However, you will be rewarded well for all your efforts if you take a refreshment break at one of a number of very welcoming pubs within the village centre.
The Trail is approximately 1.5 miles long and should take approximately an hour and a half to complete. However, it is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs as there are steep inclines and rough terrain to negotiate. In wet conditions ensure you wear sensible footwear for muddy fields.
