YOUR CASE
Residents of Ashbourne were shocked to hear their champion pancake tosser, Ron Fast, has met an untimely end whilst taking delivery of 13 dozen eggs. It is believed this was no accident and suspicion has fallen on a local football club who wanted Shrove Tuesday celebrations to be just for them. Can you help local bobbies solve this dastardly deed?
Ashbourne
Ashbourne is a market town with a wonderful history. There are plenty of historic buildings to see as you wander around this fascinating town. The Trail takes you through the park and along the main streets before it sweeps you into back alleys and side streets. Bonnie Prince Charlie declared his father to be King of England, Scotland and Wales here - before going on to Derby (where he decided to return to Scotland before government troops could engage him in battle). The church still has cannon balls from a time when Royalists and Parliamentarians fought. A visit inside the church is really worthwhile and full of surprises.
Suitable for light pushchairs. This Trail is approximately 2 miles and will take approximately 2 hours to complete.
