  • YOUR CASE

Luke E. Here had been rummaging through his late father’s old steel trunk. He discovered that the old man had spent the last few years searching for a hidden treasure of gold supposedly left by his ancestors, pirates. Luke became curious, maybe the old man was near to cracking the clues to the location of a fortune, perhaps he was so close but just missed it. Now you can help make that final search and grab the pirates' gold.

    Port Isaac

Port Isaac is a fishing village situated in a particularly beautiful area along the North Cornwall Coast. Port Isaac was an active coastal port from the Middle Ages through to the mid 19th century and a bustling harbour through which cargoes such as slate, coal, wood and pottery were imported and exported. The fishing industry also played an important part for Port Isaac and fishermen still land their catch here most days.
Most of the old centre of the village consists of 18th and 19th Century cottages, many officially listed as of architectural or historical importance, along narrow alleys and 'opes', winding down steep hillsides.

This is a Treasure Hunt Trail of approximately 2 hours duration, covering 1.5 miles. The Trail is suitable for light pushchairs but with regret not wheelchairs due to steps and uneven ground en-route.
Please take care along the Trail as Port Isaac has very limited pavements and whilst even in the summer season traffic is minimal, care still needs to be taken. Port Isaac also has a working harbour area.
