  • YOUR CASE

Local food lovers were shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Peter ‘the Pastymaker’ Polmearan, whose body was found next to an open safe. As well as the murder police are also investigating the theft of his secret pasty recipe, which has been passed down from generation to generation in Peter’s family. If you can correctly identify the guilty party and murder weapon you could win a prize!

    Launceston

Launceston is the ancient Capital of Cornwall and holder of several Royal Charters. The town once provided the only crossing points of the River Tamar and for many centuries guarded the gateway to Cornwall. The only walled town in Cornwall, Launceston once held the Mint, Assizes, and Garrison for the County. Now a market town, Launceston still retains its proud heritage and is a fascinating place to explore.

This is a Murder Mystery Trail. The Trail is 1½ miles and takes approximately 1½ hours.

There is one long flight of steps on this Trail, and a number of clues in the castle grounds are off the path and set amongst ruins. The Trail is therefore suitable for pushchairs but regrettably not for wheelchairs.
