  • YOUR CASE

Local residents were shocked and saddened to learn of the untimely demise of local bank manager Augustus P Trelawney. Foul play is suspected, especially since it has been revealed that Mr Trelawney had rather a murky past, and there are many suspects for the murder. Can you solve the mystery? If you can, you could win a prize!

    St Austell

Like many of the market towns in Cornwall, St Austell is now a meeting point of old and new. Ancient narrow streets combine with pedestrian precincts and modern shops. St Austell is synonymous with china clay. The quality of china clay in the St. Austell area is only equalled by four other places in the world, making this clay particularly valuable. In the 1860s over half of the population was involved in its extraction. With its particularly fine Parish Church and Market Hall, this Trail offers a different perspective of St Austell.

This is a Murder Mystery Trail. The Trail is 1½ miles and takes approximately 2 hours.

This Trail is suitable for pushchairs only.
