  • YOUR MISSION

Dr Badden-Mad has plans to release deadly fruit flies, resistent to insecticides, by means of detonating a device containing millions of these flies. They would destroy crops and bankrupt the town. The only way to stop him is to work out the de-acativation code for the device. Your mission, if you accept it, is to walk the Trail, work out the clues and find the code which will de-activate the device and save the good people of Princes Risborough.

    Princes Risborough

This walk will take you around Princes Risborough; an historic market town. Neolithic farmers, Saxons and Romans have all left evidence of their habitation in the area. It is said that the manor was owned by Earl Harold, who lost the Battle of Hastings to William of Normandy. The oldest part of the town lies around the parish church of St Mary. Next to the church is the 17th century Manor House, given in 1925 to the National Trust by the Rothschild family. In the centre of the town is the Market House.

Suitable for pushchairs but some of the paths are regrettably unsuitable for wheelchairs. This Trail involves about 2 miles walking and should take about 2 hours to complete.

This Trail is now available at the Tourist Information Centre in Princes Risborough.
