  • YOUR CASE

With the Marlow Regatta just weeks away, leading oarsman, Ivor Rowlock, was found dead in his skiff under very suspicious circumstances. Police are baffled, but believe his death is connected to rivalry with other rowing teams. They have asked for your help to solve the crime. By unravelling the clues you will unmask the villain who committed this crime.

    Marlow

Historic Marlow, set on the Thames, is the heart of this Trail. On this Trail you will see the river, lock and weir, and the elegant suspension bridge and admire the town with its Georgian buildings. Along the way you will learn a little about Marlow's famous former literary residents and links with an Olympic hero. What more could you ask?

This two and a half mile Trail is mostly on pavements or tarmaced paths. The route includes a ramped bridge over the Thames and paths in the churchyard all of which should be accessible to wheeled users. The last clues are in Higginson Park and two of these clues are accessed over grass so this might prove difficult for wheeled users after heavy rain. Please allow 2.5 hours to complete this Trail.

This Trail is now available from the Tourist Information Centre in Marlow.

    WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
My daughter (14) and I spent a pleasant morning during February half term following the trail around Marlow. We know Marlow well, but were still caught out by a few of the clues and had to retrace our steps a few times. None of the clues were too hard and none too easy; they all took a bit of looking to find, but we were never despairing. We give it 10 out 10.
