  • YOUR MISSION

Hurley was used by the US military and their secret agents during WW2 as it is off the main roads and accessible by river. A chest has just been dredged up from the Thames. It is thought to have been dropped by one of these agents and to contain valuable documents from that time. A code is needed to open the chest. Solve the clues, find the code and open the box!

    Hurley

Hurley is a picture postcard village. It is on the Thames and at the end of a dead end road so there is no through traffic. It is however quite busy at times especially when TV companies take over to film the likes of Midsomer Murders.

There is an island, accessed by a bridge, which is where the final clues for the Trail are to be found. This is a wonderful spot for a picnic.

The Trail is about 2 miles and takes around 2 hours to complete. It includes footpaths some of which are uneven. It is not recomended for wheelchairs. After heavy rain please be prepared for mud.

This Trail is available from the General Store and Post Office in Hurley Village.

    WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
Completed the trail with my 2 boys, who really enjoyed it. We all learnt something - I didn't realise that there was so much history to Hurley. It was a great afternoon out and we look forward to completing another trail very soon.
