  • YOUR CASE

Hundreds of years ago two dragons lived in the hills around Cookham. One had a large hoard of gold, which the other envied. One day they fought over the gold. As they fought the gold fell to the ground and was lost. Some say that the dragons fought to the death, although perhaps you may see them. A map has just been found, which some suggest may show where the gold ended up. If you can solve the clues you may find out!

    Cookham

Cookham is a charming little town on the River Thames. This walk will take you along a stretch of the river, across part of the common and along the main street looking at some of the character buildings along the way. The walk is suitable for light pushchairs although after rain some paths may become muddy.

You can now buy this from Tourist Information in Marlow as well as online.

This Trail is suitable for light pushchairs, but is not recommended for wheelchairs as the walk includes footpaths and an unmade road, where the surfaces may be uneven. This Trail involves about 1.5 miles walking and should take about 1.5 hours to complete.
